My granda was very set in his ways, but always did the best he could.
He used to make sure i always had a holiday when i was a little girl.
I miss him alot and so do my children Jade and Leah. they loved to go and visit him.
My grandad mean't alot to me. I only visited him 2 weeks before he passed away.
I wasn't able to go to his funeral as i was in hospital. But i got to say goodbye a few days before when i went to see him at the chapel of rest. I'm really pleased i did. xxxx

Its today on the day we lost you and Friday is the date, I can not believe you are not here.I still mis you and expect to see you at weekends like before.

He was my Dad and although he was not a kissey kissey kind of Dad he loved us just the same. I hated it when he whent into a nursing home,it was a horrible place, me and my Husband used to bring him out to have dinner or tea with us nearly every weekend and during the week as well. Some times we would take him to the seaside for the day he loved it.I spent every day at the hospital and the day he died I got there to late.He had been ill for such a long time that when he died I could not believe he had gone and I held his hand and pleaded for him to wake up like he had done so many times before but he did not wake, I was devasted and miss him very much.I love you Dad and still can not believe you are not here.I still want to go and bring you here for tea and take you out somewhere nice. I miss you so much.

I knew your Grandad for quite a few years, from being a little girl to a young woman. He was really good friends with my Grandad, Stan Braithwaite. I remember your Grandad as a lovely man with a smile and a nice word for everyone.

SPECIAL CLOUD IN THE SKY
Jade and Leah were really excited to get on the aeroplane even though they had never flown before. They couldn't wait to blow the kisses they promised to give you up in the sky to your special cloud. Leah spotted it first~all of a sudden she shouted-" look mummy theres Granda's cloud, shall i blow him a kiss now? " She was really happy that she found it first. Bless her!! Both myself and jade blew you a kiss too.
On the way home a week later Jade said she saw you sitting on the wing of the plane, so i said she should give you a wave, which she did and we all blew you another kiss. Thankyou for looking after us all on our flight, we felt safe knowing you were there with us.
